Sunday - Day One - Caesarea/Haifa/Acre/Rosh Hanikra
Drive north to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the ancient Israel. See the excavations of the crusader city, the aqueduct and the Amphitheater which has been restored as a concert venue. Proceed to Haifa for a panoramic view from Mt. Carmel and visit “Af Al Pi Chen” , the naval museum of the illegal immigration to Israel at the time of the British mandate. Drive to Acre and walk through the old harbor and local market. Continue to the northernmost point of Israel at Rosh Hanikra and descend by cable car into the limestone grottoes. Spend overnight at a Kibbutz guesthouse.
Monday - Day Two - Safed/Golan/Tel-Hai
Drive to Safed, center of Kaballa movement and visit the Joseph Caro and the Ari synagogues, the most important synagogues in the city then stroll around the Artist’s quarter. Enjoy a Jeep tour at the foot of the Golan. Continue to the Golan heights: Stop at an observation point over the city of Kuneitra and the Syrian territory. Stop at Tel Facher, a former syrian army camp and visit the Banias springs. Next, travel to Tel-Hai to see the “Roaring Lion” monument and learn about the heroic battle of Josef Trumpeldor and his comrades in 1920 . Spend overnight at a kibbutz guesthouse.
Tuesday - Day Three - Tiberias/Beit Shean/Gilboa
Drive to Tiberias to visit Rambam’s grave and then proceed to Beit Shean, also called "Scythopolis", the largest archeological park in Israel with beautiful excavations from Roman and Byzantine periods. Drive to Beit Alpha to see the beautiful mosaic floor of a synagogue from the Byzantine period. Proceed to
Gan Hashlosha, where you will have an opportunity to enjoy the springs located at the foot of the Gilboa mountain - the mountain on which King Saul was killed in the battle against the Philistines. Continue via the Jordan valley to Jerusalem and stop at Mount Scopus for a blessing as you enter the city.

Tour Departs Every Monday From Tel-Aviv
Monday - Day One - Caesarea / Megiddo / Haifa / Acre
Depart Tel Aviv and drive north along the coastal road to Caesarea, capital of Judea under the Romans. Visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman theatre and aqueduct. Continue to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon, and visit the archaeological excavations including the well-preserved water supply system. Drive to Haifa for a panoramic view of the Bahai gardens and Haifa bay. From Haifa, drive to Acre to visit the ancient city and harbor. Spend overnight at Kibbutz Lavi on the way to Tiberias.
Tuesday - Day Two - Tiberias / Capernaum / Banias
After a short tour of Tiberias, take a boat ride to Capernaum and visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue. Proceed to Tabgha, site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves, and visit the Church of Multiplication with its 4th century mosaic floor. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the sermon on the Mount and then drive to Banias. Continue on a tour of the Golan Heights. Return to Kibbutz Lavi for overnight.
Wednesday - Day Three - Nazareth / Beit Shean
Drive to Nazareth via Cana of Galilee. Visit the Church of Annunciation, St. Joseph’s workshop and Mary’s Well. Drive to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan river ; Continue to Beit Shean, a newly excavated city, and visit the Roman theatre. Drive along the Jordan River to Jerusalem. (tour ends in Jerusalem).
Tour ends on Wednesday evening in Jerusalem.

Thursday - Day One - Jerusalem - Old City
Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city then visit the church of All Nations, King David’s tomb and the room of last Supper on Mt. Zion. Enter the walls of the Old City and visit the Cardo, Temple Mount (entrance to the mosques is not included), Western Wall, Via Dolorosa, the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, the Bazaar. Then proceed to visit the Garden Tomb.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Friday - Day Two - Jerusalem – The New City and Bethlehem
Drive to Ein Karem to visit the church of Visitation then proceed to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the holocaust. Next, visit the Israel museum, the shrine of the book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed, and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period. Proceed to Bethlehem to visit the Church of Nativity.
Overnight in Jerusalem.
Saturday - Day Three - The Dead Sea and Masada
Drive to Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls where found. Visit the ancient city of Qumran and drive along the shore of the Dead Sea, the lowest place on earth, to Masada the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the second temple in 70 A.D. Ascend Masada by cable car and visit the food storeroom, water irrigation system and Herod’s Palace. Descend by cable car . Time and weather permitting , an opportunity will be provided to float in the Dead Sea.
Tour ends on Saturday evening in Jerusalem.

Wednesday - Day One - The Old City Jerusalem
Start with a visit of the tomb of King David on Mt. Zion. Walk along the Cardo, the ancient Roman road ; Visit the four Sepharadic synagogues restored after 1967 war in the Jewish quarter .
Tour the Kotel Tunnels; Visit Davidson center and walk through the Roman Cardo,
to the local Arab bazaar. Walk through Jaffa gate to David’s Tower museum and see the ancient remains of the city beginning with the first Temple period.
Overnight Jerusalem.
Thursday - Day Two - The New City Jerusalem
Drive to Mea Shearim and learn about the unique lifestyle of the ultra orthodox communities. Drive to mount Hertzel , the military cemetery and Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust . Visit Ammunition Hill, a former Jordanian army stronghold conquered by the Israeli army in the Six Day War and converted into a national memorial site and museum. Drive by the Knesset, Israel’s parliament and see the Menorah with its biblical emblems. Next visit the Israel Museum, the Shrine of the Book where the Dead Sea Scrolls are housed and the new Holyland model – a miniature replica of Jerusalem as it was during the second temple period.

Friday - Day Three - Masada, Qumran and the Dead Sea
Drive through the Judean desert to the Dead Sea. Stop at Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Continue to Masada, ascend by cable car and tour the ancient fortress - visit the remains of the walls, palaces, synagogue, and the bathhouses. Descend by cable car and stop for lunch and enjoy Spa facilities at one of the leading hotels in the area.

Day Tours pick up travelers at their hotels in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem at given times. Please make sure to reconfirm your pick-up times when booking and arrive at your pick-up location a few minutes before your designated departure time.
Tours include 3 touring days with government licensed English speaking guides in luxury air conditioned touring vehicles.
Three day tours include 2 nights accommodation in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv or Kibbutz Hotels on a B&B basis.
Meals are not included.

Day Tours are not operated during major Jewish holidays such as Rosh Hashana, Yom Kippur and Passover. Please confirm your requested tours to insure scheduled operation on those dates.
Tour confirmations are subject to hotel availability.
If your Day Tour includes visiting holy sites, please make sure to observe modest attire and have an available head-covering. Visitors will not be allowed in churches or synagogues (as well as the Western Wall Rotunda) wearing sleeveless shirts or shorts.
If your Day Tour includes a Desert location such as Masada or the Dead Sea make sure to take along head covering, sun block lotion, a bathing suit and a towel.
Comfortable walking shoes are always recommended.
